In St. Tropez, a five-mile stretch of land called the Route des Plages is home to some of the most popular beaches in the world. Parking costs € 4 for the day. Plage de la Bouillabaisse is the most glamorous beach where even the beaches get groomed and the weather is as hot as the stars who attend to.
The city of Nice is protected by the Alps and is the most protected part of the Mediterranean coast, with a gentle wind from the sea to land. Along this coastline there are over15 private beaches, separated from public beaches, all in soft sand and hard rocks. Private beaches in Nice fee € 20 per day for both chair and umbrella. The famous blue chairs of Nice, (chairs in guide books described as "legendary" blue) can be found along the promenade and offer a comfortable spot to relax and go the world.
Similar to Nice, Cannes beaches are the private and public sectors, the majoritybeing here but private. Almost all of these private beaches are among luxury hotels in the area. Cannes' public beaches in the Far East and west of the city are found. The beaches are attractive but can not crowded in the summer.
The "norm" when relaxing on a beach in Monaco is topless sunbathing. The most famous of this is the Monte Carlo Beach Club, the city, this was an integral part of social life for decades. It is an expensiveAdmission, but the beach has great facilities, cafes and bars. The only public beach in Monaco is Larvotto. This is an artificial beach and has three concrete piers, protected by large boulders and gravel.
